AUDITIONS - MARCH 4TH + 5TH Are you a 3rd, 4th, 5th grader with talent to share? Mark your calendars are start preparing your auditions! Calling all dancers, singers, actors, comics, musicians, cheerleaders, gymnasts, martial artists, magicians, etc. The Variety Show is a great opportunity to showcase your talents! If you are more of a behind-the-scenes kind of person - we need you too! Emcees, greeters, backstage help, artwork, photography, etc. This show is kid (and teacher) centered! Make a difference by sharing your talents and joy with the Kingston community of students and family. More information to follow!
The First Colonial High School Gifted Advisory Board (G.A.B.)/Interact Club will hold its sixth annual “Parents Night Out” fundraiser on Friday, February 14th from 5 p.m. – 9 p.m. at our school. This event, which has gifted, high school students working with kids ages 3-12 years of age, is organized where participants travel to three different activities, are fed dinner, and end the night with a "kid-friendly" movie. Attached you will find a flyer that you can share with your school community. All proceeds go to our club and our philanthropy “End Polio Now”. OPERATION SMILE FINAL MILE Saturday March 21, 2020
Each year during PE the kids will run/walk at total of 25.2 miles at school. Then they will run the “final mile” of their 26.2 mile marathon on race day!
Important Dates: Register by February 10th to get your child’s name & school on their bib Register by midnight on February 1st before the price increases from $20 to $25

What is WATCH D.O.G.S.® (Dads Of Great Students)? WATCH D.O.G.S. (Dads Of Great Students) is a family and community engagement educational initiative. Learn more about WATCH D.O.G.S. here. What are the goals of a WATCH D.O.G.S. program? 1) To provide positive male role models for the students, demonstrating by their presence that education is important. 2) To provide extra sets of eyes and ears to enhance school security and reduce bullying. Who are WatchDOGS and how does WATCH D.O.G.S. work? WATCH D.O.G.S. are fathers, grandfathers, uncles, and other father-figures who volunteer for at least one day each year at an official WATCH D.O.G.S. school. Shirts are $15. Contact: email@example.com
